Life After Death
The year is 1994. JC Merrick is a sixteen-year-old boy whose life changes when his parents die in a multivehicle wreck on Interstate 5. The sole beneficiary of his parents life insurance policies and robust investment portfolio, JC suddenly finds himself wealthy and utterly alone. Regardless, he determines to live his life by honoring his parents and the legacy they created.
Nine months after the death of his parents, JC drowns and is pronounced dead by a team of doctors at Tacoma General Medical Center, who, thirty minutes later, discover JC is not dead but in a deep coma that lasts a month. Fully recovered from his coma, JC discovers that he apparently has the ability to heal injured animals by touching them. Might he be able to heal people?

About Emory D. Lynn
I was born in a very small town along the "Highline" in Montana. By the time I graduated high school I'd attended nineteen schools in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho, all setting the stage for a lifetime of variety and travel.
A voracious reader, I typically read 150 books a year, across most genres, though I prefer history, historical fiction, and good mysteries.
Favorite Quote from Emory D. Lynn
"Keep the main things, the main things."
Inspiration for Life After Death
In jobs throughout my life I've used examples by telling stories to illustrate a point or clarify the use or importance of whatever topic is being presented or discussed. Writing Life After Death seemed a natural extension of my love of storytelling.
Life long friends have encouraged me to write, and I listened to their encouragement.
